Ruth Sherlock, US Editor, reports:
I have unearthed two further examples of Donald Trump's sleazy behaviour towards women:
"No panties"
Gary Green, was the manager of Trump 29, a casino in California. Mr Trump had taken control of the casino, but the owners were unhappy with his work, so, in April 20004 the mogul decided to visit the venue to patch up broken relations.
I spoke with Mr Green about the day Mr Trump visited. He recalled clearly how the limousine pulled up to the edge of a red carpet that had been rolled out for the occasion. A row of showgirls were lined along the carpet. Kimmie, the lead showgirl stepped forward to open the door of the car, and Mr Trump stepped out, closely followed by Melania, his wife.
Mr Green said he recalled Mr Trump leaning over and whispering something in the ear of an aide. Worried that Mr Trump was unhappy with something, Mr Green asked the aide after what he had said.“Oh that. He looked at your model and told me,‘no panties’," the aide told him.
Mr Green also writes about this moment in his book Gambling Man.
"Stealing wives"
Salvatore Lauria is a convicted mobster and longtime associate of Donald Trump's business partners for Trump Soho, his most prestigious Manhattan development. It has been reported that Lauria used to show up at work in Bayrock's offices, in Trump Tower, wearing a court-ordered ankle monitor.
Lauria wrote a memoir “The Scorpion and the Frog,” which has been described as a tell-all on the men that Mr Trump has surrounded himself with.
In his book, Lauria describes a party in 1996 where Mr Trump tried to pick up the wives of him and Lex, his friend. He said the women had attracted the attention of Mr Trump "who apparently was always on the lookout for new possible conquests".
Soon, he writes, Mr Trump sent over his bodyguard, who said: “You two ladies are gorgeous and my employer, Mr Trump, would like your names and phone numbers.” Mr Trump was married to his second wife, Marla Maples, at the time.
