Lexus unveiled an innovative sport yacht in Miami this morning - Curbed Miami

Lexus unveiled a sport yacht concept in Miami Beach this morning and the innovative design makes it look like it’s straight from a sci-fi movie set in the distant future.

The sleek 42-foot vessel weighs around 2000 pounds less than similar fiber-glass yachts, per the International Business Times, capable of reaching a top speed of 43 knots. It’s powered by twin 5-litre V8 engines.

"For the Lexus Design Centre this project has been very exciting. The effort is valuable to us as it stirs our creative energies and pushes our imagination to design for lifestyle possibilities outside of the automotive realm we know well," said Yoshihiro Sawa, executive vice president of Lexus International.
