JSO: Man shot, dies after friends take him to UF Health - WJXT Jacksonville

A man was shot Saturday night and died from his wounds after friends brought him to UF Health, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. 

Officers are working to find out the location of where the man was shot and his name. They said he arrived at the hospital at about 5 p.m.

The vehicle he arrived in, a four-door Honda, was taken from the scene by detectives.

"We have several individuals that we're talking to now," Sergeant Robert John with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. "We are trying to determine which of those individuals were actually in the care with the victim and what their relationship was."

Officers do not know how many times he was shot.
